Itís said that our greatest treasures
Are born out of lifeís simplest pleasures.
Itís sentiment, the cynics find too uncouth,
But, just now, I have found new proof.
Coming in a smile, not even meant for me,
Its wondrous beauty I was allowed to see.
A smile straight from the heart and soul
Containing electricityís power a thousandfold.
It was as a lightning bolt, not in a darkened sky,
But, beginning from the brightest sun on high.
The smile came upon a face where already beauty shown
Bringing forth a light only by angels known.
Give me all your material wealth, your gold
And, still this treasure would not be sold.
Forever safe in my heart, lies the priceless beauty
Of a most divine smile not even meant for me.
